About Ryan Law

Our Background

Ryan Law is a family firm that dates back to 1948 when Terry Ryan started practising law in Te Aroha. Mike Ryan took over from his father Terry in 1989, and Mike's daughters Fiona and Evelyn took over from Mike in 2018. We have a fantastic group of people working in our office who always want to provide the best possible service for our clients.

Our Philosophies

We always want to provide our clients with valuable legal advice.

In order for us to do this, we each have areas of law that we specialise in and we make sure that we're up-to-date on the latest developments in those areas.
This means that we can provide advice quickly and confidently.

We also want to make sure that our clients understand our advice.

So we don't dress it up with fancy words. Our clients need to understand exactly what it is they're signing up for, so we make sure that happens.

And we always want our clients to achieve the best results possible.

To do so, we talk to our clients about their rights, and after weighing everything up, we help them make decisions that best balance all of the components of their desired outcome.
